Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Develop secure high-quality production code and perform code reviews
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams regarding architectural designs
• Lead communities of practice to drive awareness of leading-edge technologies
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge including AI-assisted development and automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle PL-SQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker Swarm, Open-Shift, or Kubernetes)
• Expert knowledge in Micro-services and Event Driven Architecture
• Experience in UNIX and Shell scripting within RHEL ecosystem
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Practical cloud native experience
• In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems
