Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions using a Test Driven Development (TDD) approach
• Build scalable, secure, and stable technology products within an agile environment
• Drive business value through change programs and technical projects
• Perform comprehensive testing including Unit, SIT, and UAT planning and management
• Contribute to code reviews, architecture standards, and quality improvement initiatives
• Partner with technical leads to develop realistic project estimates and long-range strategic plans
• Ensure robust code delivery into production with a focus on stability, resiliency, and performance

Requirements

• Formal degree or certification in software engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Strong core Java expertise, including advanced concepts like multi-threading and garbage collection
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, and React JS
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and database technologies
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to solve complex, large-scale technical problems and provide end-to-end solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing micro-front end based micro-services
• Exposure to Kubernetes platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies
• Familiarity with SWIFT payment processing and ISO20022 messaging standards
