Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for team members.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical applicability.
• Drive awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies by leading communities of practice across Software Engineering.
• Contribute to a team culture centered on diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, React JS, or Angular.
• Experience with Microservice Architecture, REST, gRPC, and contract-first development.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including infrastructure as code and managed databases.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM implementation, including model serving, retrieval augmentation, and prompt management.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining observability (metrics, tracing, alerting).

Preferred Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in specialized disciplines such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
