Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build an application ecosystem including engineering/sales platforms and next-generation data products
• Develop and integrate LLM chatbots with internal resource context into existing tools
• Own the full project lifecycle from research and design to deployment and iteration
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code using object-oriented design and SOLID principles
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
• Design and maintain Azure infrastructure as code using Terraform

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of software engineering experience, OR Master's degree and 1+ year of experience, OR 5+ years of experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US on an unrestricted basis
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Proficiency in server-side languages like TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or Ruby
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong skills in database design and data engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience developing enterprise-sized applications
• Experience with TypeScript, React, NextJS, Tailwind, NestJS, SQLServer, Apache Lucene, or Jest
• Strong knowledge of design principles and responsive user experiences
• Clear and confident communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
