Lead Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, customization, and support of solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Government.
• Design and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Dynamics 365 Customer Service / CRM.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 Government with Azure Government and external enterprise platforms through secure APIs and middleware.
• Lead custom API development efforts, including building new APIs and implementing scalable integration solutions.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Mentor and guide team members on coding standards, development best practices, and sustainable engineering approaches.
• Assess and reduce technical debt by identifying refactor opportunities and modernizing legacy components.
• Ensure all solutions align with Microsoft best practices, federal security requirements, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, specifically in Customer Service / CRM development.
• Demonstrated experience in Dynamics 365 customization and configuration using JavaScript, C#, .NET, Dataverse, and Power Platform.
• Strong experience working in Dynamics 365 Government environments.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, or Azure Functions within government environments.
• Ability to travel 20-50% on average.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing or supporting CRM systems within a federal agency environment.
