Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the software development life cycle by designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining complex applications across multiple platforms and architectures.
• Develop moderately complex code using both front-end and back-end programming languages for internal and external client solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership on application standards, including PCI security compliance and infrastructure controls.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine optimal solution approaches.
• Perform in-depth analysis, unit testing, and validation to ensure code quality and create concise application documentation.
• Assist with on-the-job training and provide technical expertise and mentorship to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of two or more modern front-end and back-end programming languages.
• Proven experience working with various APIs and external services.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development and data analysis.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
