Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful customer experiences.
• Mentor members of the engineering community and stay at the forefront of emerging technology trends.
• Utilize a modern tech stack including JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Python, Go, and various AWS services to meet regulatory and business needs.
• Implement container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes alongside RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• 4+ years of experience working with open source frameworks.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
