Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and manage enterprise-grade APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
• Build scalable systems and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, or Python
• Manage the full API lifecycle and enforce governance standards
• Optimize APIs for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Develop containerized services using Docker
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Automate deployments using GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Support hybrid cloud architectures across Azure and AWS
• Integrate APIs across enterprise and third-party systems
• Embrace AI-driven productivity and agentic solutions in platform evolution

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in software development
• 4+ years of experience in Azure API development and Management
• Strong expertise in Azure API Management and REST API design principles
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, or Python
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of API security models and enterprise integrations
• Ability to work the 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST shift in Hyderabad

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure or AWS certifications
