Lead Software Engineer - Enterprise Applications

Responsibilities

• Define and implement development strategies, standards, and best practices for custom software engineering across the organization.
• Lead the design and development of scalable applications using .NET (C#) and/or Java.
• Partner with product teams to architect enterprise-grade solutions that align with business goals.
• Establish and promote DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure SDLC.
• Support and mentor engineering teams in adopting modern development practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Design and oversee the implementation of RESTful APIs and integrations with enterprise systems like ERP/CRM and third-party platforms.
• Participate in architecture reviews regarding distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, advising leadership on strategic direction and innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, OR
• Master's degree and 3+ years of software engineering experience, OR
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
• Legal authorization to work in the US on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) or Java (ASP.NET Core or Spring).
• Deep understanding of software architecture, including microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
