Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of .NET software solutions within the Digital Assets team
• Design, code, test, debug, and document complex software applications
• Act as a technical expert for DTCC applications and provide mentorship to other developers
• Partner with Business Analysts and Infrastructure teams to ensure designs meet functional and hosting requirements
• Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with company technology standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, including CI/CD and automated testing
• Align risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of related software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and related frameworks
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Proficient in SQL and database design
• Experience with modern development practices including Agile, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
