Lead Software Engineer, DevOps

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create robust cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver powerful experiences that drive financial empowerment.
• Mentor members of the engineering community and participate in internal and external technology communities.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go to build distributed microservices.
• Implement container orchestration and configuration management using Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Drive major transformations by marrying data with emerging technologies and cloud-native services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• At least 4 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps Engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby).
• 4+ years of experience with technologies such as Apache Mesos, Marathon, or Apache Spark.
• 4+ years of experience using build and deployment tools like Jenkins and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience with distributed database systems (Cassandra, ElasticSearch).
• 2+ years of experience with deploying clustered web services and working within Agile Development Practices.
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity.
