Lead Software Engineer - Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology initiatives and application modernization projects with broad companywide impact
• Design, code, test, debug, and document large-scale technology solutions
• Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for complex technology disciplines
• Review and analyze large-scale technology solutions to meet strategic business objectives and technical challenges
• Collaborate with technical experts and senior leadership to resolve complex issues and achieve goals
• Act as a technical role model, mentor peers, and lead engineering teams to drive accountability and quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proven experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
• Experience building agentic AI or multi-agent orchestration systems
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Advanced coding skills in Python and PySpark
• Experience with Apache Spark and RDBMS (SQL Server)
• Proficiency with Lakehouse/Objectstore, Iceberg/Delta, and Kafka
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain
• Experience with streaming and caching technologies like Kafka and Redis
• Exposure to reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
