Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and operationalize vehicle intelligence products within military and government environments.
• Tackle technical challenges involving software engineering, operating system configuration, and hardware integration.
• Bridge customer-built systems with Applied Intuition's solutions to deliver tangible value.
• Design and implement scalable architectural solutions to improve consistency across various projects.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure successful mission outcomes.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical outcomes and drive projects to completion in ambiguous environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Broad technical experience across software engineering, operating systems, and hardware.
• Proven experience with the integration and deployment of complex systems.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working in highly ambiguous and rapidly evolving operational environments.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
