About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define the software vision and architecture for the Datacenters & Energy business unit
  • Lead the development of cutting-edge embedded systems for intelligent power management
  • Architect high-performance real-time systems spanning from embedded firmware to cloud services
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements for complex power monitoring systems
  • Perform trade-off analyses regarding scalability, cost, and delivery speed
  • Create technical documentation including high-level block diagrams and data flow diagrams
  • Mentor engineering team members from junior to staff levels
  • Drive continuous improvement in software development processes using modern tools and AI

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle
  • 10+ years of experience architecting complex systems spanning embedded to cloud applications
  • Deep knowledge of electrical power control systems
  • Experience with embedded RTOS such as Zephyr
  • Proficiency with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
  • Understanding of cloud and embedded security, including secure boot and data protection
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and model development
  • Ability to read and understand hardware schematics
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Git
