Lead Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in software planning cycles and guide the team in aligning with business goals and timelines
• Design and architect software, applications, and database enhancements focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Develop strategies to solve complex business requirements and implement technical specifications
• Drive high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code using C# .NET, React, and SQL
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide guidance on best practices
• Lead teams in conducting bug fixes and remediating defects to ensure software stability
• Supervise technical documentation, including code comments, design documents, and user manuals
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or 5-10 years of equivalent software development experience)
• 5-10 years of experience in software development
• Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
• Proven experience leading the development of highly scalable Microservices and integration patterns
• Proficiency in C# .NET Core and React SPA
• Extensive experience with complex relational databases and advanced SQL techniques
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
• Familiarity with SOLID principles and API versioning
• Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GraphQL and monitoring/logging tools
