Lead Software Developer - Java FullStack

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle development of Data Delivery applications, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical designs, development tasks, and effort estimates.
• Design and deliver high-quality, maintainable code while leading code reviews and enforcing software design standards.
• Operate within an Agile environment, participating in sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Implement and practice CI/CD principles to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Provide technical leadership for project management activities, including risk management and progress reviews.
• Support operational stability by participating in on-call rotations and performing root cause analysis for production issues.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, patterns, and approaches to shape long-term technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• 12-16 years of relevant software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Strong full-stack capabilities with Angular 12, React JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with database technologies including SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with unit and integration testing using frameworks like Jest.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Flight Management Systems, Class III EFB applications, or Data Delivery systems.
• Familiarity with airplane avionics, network protocols, and airplane system integration.
• Proven ability to deliver informative, well-organized technical presentations to stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and creative problem-solving skills.
