Lead SoC Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tests for functional verification at the SoC level
• Build testbench components to support next-generation IP
• Maintain or improve current verification libraries to support SoC and full-chip level verification
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams
• Assist the Hardware emulation team in porting RTL to Palladium, Zebu, HAPS, or Protium platforms

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS)
• 8+ years of design verification experience
• Strong OOP coding experience (SystemVerilog, SpecmanE, or C++) and SV Assertions
• Proficiency in Verilog and general logic design concepts
• Experience with UVM, OVM, or VMM methodologies
• Strong UNIX environment skills and scripting proficiency in Perl or Python
• Excellent waveform debug skills using industry-standard tools (VCS, NCSIM/XCELIUM, Verdi, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of system-level architecture including AXI/AHB buses, memory controllers (DDR4/DDR5), and peripherals (USB, PCIe, Ethernet)
• Experience verifying multimillion-gate chip designs from specification to tape-out
• Familiarity with industry-standard cryptographic and security algorithms (AES, RSA, SHA)
• Experience with UNIX Revision Control tools (ICM manage, CVS, Perforce) and JIRA
• Familiarity with processors, boot flows, and software development flows (Assembly and C)
