About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive digital transformation by building and managing cloud-first platform services.
  • Become an expert in Business Systems services, including APIs, protocols (OAuth), and user interfaces.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the engineering community.
  • Prototype and create proofs of concept to propose iterative solution improvements.
  • Scope and deploy new integrations while investigating and diagnosing customer integration issues.
  • Effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of utilities and SDKs to support integration and migration efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
  • Expertise in monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity/access management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS or other Cloud Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
  • Experience with AIOps, Serverless Architectures, and event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with FinOps practices and cost optimization frameworks.
  • Experience with SaaS monitoring tools like PagerDuty or Sumo Logic.
  • Exposure to Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
