Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and operation of secure, highly available cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS
• Own DevSecOps and SRE practices, including reliability standards (SLOs/SLAs), monitoring, and incident response
• Establish and enforce DevSecOps best practices such as shift-left security, automated testing, and secrets management
• Guide teams on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Build and govern CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for reliable releases
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform with reusable, secure modules
• Oversee system observability and monitoring using Splunk to proactively detect and resolve issues
• Lead production incident response, on-call operations, and root cause analysis
• Mentor DevSecOps engineers and collaborate with development and security teams
• Design and deploy AI-powered solutions to enhance products and workflows

Requirements

• Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience
• 8-12+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or platform engineering
• Proficiency in Java with experience building services using Spring Boot
• Solid experience with RDBMS technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) in production environments
• Proven experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Terraform for large-scale infrastructure provisioning
• Deep understanding of Azure services including compute, networking, storage, and IAM
• In-depth knowledge of SSL/TLS, PKI concepts, and certificate automation
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI tools within the SDLC to improve engineering productivity
• Knowledge of Azure AI, MS CoPilot Studio, Prompt Engineering, or Gen AI/RAG frameworks
• Experience with Blue/Green and Canary deployment strategies
