Lead Senior Software Engineer — Platform Security

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and long-term evolution of large-scale security services, including authentication, authorization, and identity systems.
• Own complex, cross-cutting initiatives spanning secure access and workload identity.
• Make and influence architectural decisions that balance security, reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Drive high-quality engineering practices, including testing, observability, and operational readiness.
• Build and maintain shared libraries and frameworks to standardize security best practices across the company.
• Mentor and guide other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response for security-critical systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a high-scale environment.
• Proven experience designing and delivering distributed systems at scale.
• Significant professional experience with object-oriented programming (C#, Java, or C++).
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code and automated deployment pipelines.
• Deep understanding of system reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of mentoring engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or operating identity and access management (IAM) systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), or hybrid infrastructure.
• Background in security engineering or site reliability engineering (SRE).
• Interest in applying automation or AI to improve security posture and resilience.
