Lead, Security & Loss Prevention

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control facility access by verifying identification and credentials
• Operate and monitor CCTV and electronic access control systems
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established protocols
• Conduct routine audits, cycle counts, and inventory inspections for loss prevention
• Train and mentor security officers on patrol procedures and emergency response
• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, policy violations, and safety concerns
• Serve as a professional point of contact for employees, contractors, and visitors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, law enforcement, or military
• Active Texas DPS Level II non-commissioned security officer license
• Loss Prevention Qualified (LPQ) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and Stop the Bleed certifications
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice or Security
• Bilingual skills
• Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training
