Lead Security Engineer - Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy reliable, maintainable, and secure software using Python
• Build and integrate AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems
• Lead technical design and architecture decisions and socialize them across the team
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to define and deliver new features
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
• Identify and drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Develop security automation capabilities to protect network and company assets

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of related software engineering experience
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying secure software in Python
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, and the React framework
• Experience with OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, and other data storage platforms
• Ability to solve complex problems and develop creative technical alternatives
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Applied experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in frontend development using Typescript and Javascript
• Proficiency in backend development using Python, YAML, and JSON
