Lead Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, scalable software solutions and APIs using Python and public cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop high-quality production code and perform code reviews to ensure security and performance.
• Minimize security vulnerabilities by applying industry insights and regulatory requirements to evolve security protocols.
• Partner with platform and cloud security teams to ensure infrastructure configuration aligns with enterprise security architecture.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security needs and recommend modifications during periods of vulnerability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied security engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Substantial expertise in Python programming and cloud security engineering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within public cloud environments.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted practices within security engineering workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML backend product development.
• Cloud computing certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Solutions Architect, or Developer Engineer).
• Programming experience with Golang.
