Lead Rotating & Package Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for rotating equipment packages, including centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, gas/steam turbines, pumps, blowers, and fans.
• Perform engineering design reviews and analysis for major projects in the oil and gas industry.
• Review and approve technical documentation such as datasheets, specifications, vendor documents, GA drawings, P&IDs, and material requisitions.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor offer reviews.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary departments including Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, and Civil.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL reviews, design reviews, and FAT/SAT.
• Provide site engineering support during installation, alignment, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.
• Troubleshoot operational issues such as vibration, seal failures, and bearing problems.
• Support reliability improvement and root cause failure analysis (RCFA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of mechanical design experience in the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience specifically on ADNOC projects or within ADNOC group companies.
• Mandatory ADNOC approval.
• Strong knowledge of API (610, 617, 618, 614, 682), ASME, ISO, and AGPS standards.
• Extensive experience in FEED and detailed engineering within a brownfield environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• API certification.
• Vibration Analysis certification.
• Reliability Engineering certification.
• Experience in both brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Proficiency with ETAP, Bentley, AVEVA, or SAP.
