Lead Retirement Plan Specialist

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on plan design including eligibility rules, vesting schedules, and match formulas
• Onboard new plans and translate customer intent into plan document elections
• Manage year-end compliance including ADP/ACP, 410(b), 415, top-heavy, and 5500 filings
• Handle plan corrections for failed testing, late deferrals, and eligibility errors
• Translate regulatory changes like SECURE 2.0 into concrete plan-level decisions
• Partner with engineering to automate operational processes and handle edge cases
• Communicate clearly with plan sponsors and auditors

Requirements

• 5+ years of ERISA operational experience at a TPA, recordkeeper, or plan consulting firm
• Proven experience running year-end compliance for a book of plans
• Expertise in handling plan corrections and coverage testing
• Ability to work in-person in Tribeca, NYC
