Lead Research Analyst/Principal Analyst - Healthcare Payor

Responsibilities

• Articulate a clear point of view on digital transformation in the healthcare payor industry, including value-based care, population health, and interoperability.
• Engage with senior leadership and CXOs at health plans, PBMs, and health-tech vendors to advise on future strategies.
• Take end-to-end ownership of research products, including market reports, white papers, and RadarView assessments.
• Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research through briefings and discussions with business, technology, and clinical leaders.
• Design and refine innovative research processes, taxonomies, and evaluation frameworks tailored to healthcare payors.
• Lead and mentor a lean research team to ensure high-quality outputs and efficient delivery.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent from a Tier 1 institute.
• 6-9 years of experience in research, strategy, or consulting.
• Strong subject matter expertise in healthcare payors (health plans, PBMs, or related segments).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to executive audiences.
• Strong quantitative and data interpretation skills, including experience with claims or clinical data.
• Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies like AI, GenAI, and cloud computing within the healthcare space.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Big 4 or leading healthcare/strategy consulting firms.
• Prior experience working with top technology industry analyst firms or healthcare-specific analyst organizations.
