Lead Requirement Engineer – eAxle

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end requirement lifecycle for eAxle systems using IBM DOORS
• Lead requirement elicitation from OEMs, covering system, safety, cybersecurity, and manufacturing
• Decompose customer requirements into system, sub-system, hardware, and software specifications
• Govern baselines, change control, and traceability to ensure full audit trails
• Perform impact analysis regarding scope, cost, timing, safety, and testing for the Change Control Board (CCB)
• Ensure bidirectional traceability between customer requirements, design, implementation, and test verification
• Drive cross-functional and OEM alignment workshops to manage interfaces and dependencies
• Flow down requirements to suppliers and ensure compliance with technical standards
• Maintain complete requirement management evidence to support internal and customer audits

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in IBM DOORS or DOORS Next (mandatory)
• Strong systems mindset with experience in the V-Model development lifecycle
• Domain knowledge in eAxle or electric drive systems
• BE / BTech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• 5-8 years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and SysML
