About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional in-home nursing care for pediatric and adult members, including routine, urgent, and acute care visits.
- Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, vaccinations, IV placement, medication administration, and specimen collection.
- Serve as a clinical lead and resource for Home Services RNs during complex visits or challenging situations.
- Support daily staffing operations, including schedule management, coverage gaps, and workflow coordination.
- Partner with Care Coordination to ensure efficient visit scheduling and appropriate resource allocation.
- Assist the RN Manager with onboarding, continued education, and clinical development of nursing staff.
- Manage clinical inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements
- Current NY Registered Nursing License (multi-state or CT license is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Critical Care setting.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (e.g., Charge RN, Clinical RN Lead, or Preceptor).
- Strong IV, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work a schedule of 4 x 10-hour days (Tuesday - Friday).
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Exceptional communication and team coordination skills.
