About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Dentist during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions
- Oversee back-office functions, flow, and efficiency
- Mentor, train, and guide new and existing team members
- Greet patients, complete digital charting, and capture quality x-ray images
- Assist with complex treatments including RCTs, crown seating, and denture adjustments
- Manage patient flow and monitor staff/dentist time management
- Delegate sterilization of instruments and maintain cross-contamination standards
- Manage inventory orders in accordance with office budget
Requirements
- Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
- 4-5+ years of Dental Assisting experience
- Proficiency in Digital x-rays and Digital charting
- Experience with training team members and monitoring progress
- Experience with RCT, Cord Packing, Denture Adjustments, and Crown Seat
Preferred Qualifications
- Sealant Placement certification
- Nitrous Monitoring certification
- Coronal Polishing certification
