About the role
Responsibilities
- Fulfill client records and information governance requests
- Maintain files and databases using physical, digital, and electronic systems
- Coordinate workflow and oversee a small team in the HR Information System
- Provide job intake, prioritize tasks, and delegate duties to team members
- Direct Quality Assurance processes to ensure client satisfaction
- Act as a subject matter expert regarding records management databases and policies
- Interface with clients, vendors, and colleagues regarding records requests
- Train new or junior staff members
- Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in legal, banking, or large corporate environments
- Demonstrated experience leading team members
- Advanced skill in legal records services, information governance, and matter mobility
- Proficiency with records software and alpha-numeric filing formats
- Advanced skill in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to use HR Information systems and job tracking software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
