Lead React Native Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of core React Native features, including native modules and bridges
• Work closely with design and product teams to ship high-impact features
• Use AI tools like Claude and Cursor to boost development quality and speed
• Drive app performance and tune complex mobile products
• Build resilient offline-first flows and graceful error handling for field conditions
• Evolve the mobile design system and UI patterns
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, pairing, and mentoring

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React Native and mobile architecture (navigation, state, module boundaries)
• Experience shipping complex React Native apps in cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of performance, accessibility, testing, and maintainability
• Ability to design stable native bridges
• Product-oriented mindset focused on customer outcomes
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

• Experience with CodePush
• Experience with App Store releases at scale
• Experience with design systems
• Experience mentoring mobile engineers
