About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and lead troubleshooting for AN/TPY-2 Radar system anomalies
  • Manage moderately scoped projects, operational processes, and onsite team tasks
  • Establish RF Hazard/Keep-Out Zones and implement site-specific radiation procedures
  • Maintain Radar system health, including mission execution and performance monitoring
  • Execute mission tests, develop new mission profiles, and perform validation activities
  • Oversee Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation and regression testing
  • Define and execute data collection, reduction, and analysis for system performance
  • Deliver weekly engineering updates and maintain detailed Radar performance notebooks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 8+ years of prior engineering experience
  • Active CompTIA Security+ Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
  • Proven experience operating AN/TPY-2 Radars and diagnosing system anomalies
  • Proficiency working in UNIX and/or MATLAB environments
  • Experience in software and systems integration planning and execution
  • Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Experience with DoD or Missile Defense Programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and UNIX applications
  • Possession of a current passport
