About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using gtest for C++-based libraries.
- Integrate test automation frameworks into GitHub Actions pipelines to ensure rapid developer feedback.
- Scale common platforms to collect and visualize quality metrics using a data-driven approach.
- Identify, isolate, and report defects, working closely with developers to prioritize resolutions.
- Lead complex debugging efforts across the stack, from kernel to library and framework levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive improvements in code coverage and overall software testability.
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proven experience as an SDET with a focus on C++ development and testing.
- Strong expertise with GoogleTest (gtest) for unit and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency working in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with Git, Docker, and containerization for managing test environments.
- Experience leveraging agentic AI to automate engineering workflows like CI orchestration or test generation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ROCm/CUDA, HIP, or GPU compute stacks.
- Proficiency in C++, including memory management, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with pre-silicon simulation environments, emulators, or functional models.
- Knowledge of observability patterns, including metrics, alerting, and SLA monitoring.
- Experience with GPU kernel compilation workflows and binary artifact management.
