About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes
  • Provide technical quality guidance for multiple product lines and manage intercompany quality interactions
  • Complete process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, standard work, and control plans
  • Perform data analysis using 8-Ds and A3 methodologies to resolve complex problems
  • Monitor OEM websites and engage with customers for effective complaint resolution
  • Support equipment effectiveness and develop capability, Gage R&R, and runoff criteria for new processes
  • Oversee advanced quality product planning and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation
  • Conduct process audits, initiate corrective actions, and lead cost-saving or variation reduction projects
  • Mentor employees on quality principles, standards, and internal/external requirements
  • Support VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives to drive cost-out projects

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • At least three (3) years of experience in quality and/or engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a matrix environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green belt or Black belt)
  • Experience with process mapping for manufacturing and/or assembly
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing quality
  • Experience with supplier quality and direct customer contact
  • Proficiency in statistical tools (histograms, multivariance analysis, normal distributions, and Six Sigma)
