Lead Quality Control Receiving Inspector

Responsibilities

• Verify documentation, materials, and products meet PO and engineering drawing requirements
• Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and feeler gages
• Conduct electrical inspections, including continuity testing, per engineering requirements
• Manage multiple receipts across physical and electronic locations
• Utilize ERP tools to review, route, and disposition non-conforming products and inventory
• Track and document arrival reports and manage supplier RMAs
• Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures
• Provide CMM testing and reporting as required
• Support internal continuous improvement teams and cover duties for the RI Supervisor when needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 years of product assurance experience (receiving, in-process, or final QA/QC)
• Ability to pass IPC J-STD and IPC-A-610 inspection certification testing, including vision testing
• Knowledge of dimensional inspection tools
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation, including dimensioned drawings and datasheets
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• CMM programming and/or operational experience with proficient knowledge in GD&T
• Familiarity with AS9102 FAI requirements
• Experience operating inspection or test equipment such as XRF or X-Ray
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, IFS)
