Lead Project Data Analytics Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize analytics, automated ETL pipelines, and dashboards to support workforce planning and engineering program decisions
• Design, compute, and maintain KPIs, trend/variance analyses, forecasting, and risk models
• Build and maintain data models in Power BI using Power Query and DAX, and write SQL queries for data workflows
• Use scripting languages like Python or R to automate data validation and workflows
• Create executive-ready reports and visualizations to present actionable insights to senior leadership
• Facilitate recurring resource planning cycles, cross-functional governance, and technical reviews
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and engineering leadership to ensure analytics address operational needs and compliance

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• 5+ years of professional experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• 3+ years of experience building data analytics dashboards and business intelligence solutions in Power BI or Tableau
• Hands-on experience with at least one scripting language for data automation, such as Python or R
• Proven experience facilitating workforce staffing or resource planning processes within technical organizations
• Strong ability to design KPIs, run trend/variance analyses, and present findings to leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience supporting engineering or technology programs
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience with data pipeline/ETL tooling, cloud data platforms, or orchestration (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Airflow)
• Experience writing SQL for data transformation and reporting
• Formal project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, ScrumMaster)
• Experience with large-scale workforce planning, skills-based staffing, or labor forecasting
