Lead, Program Management

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion
• Drive program execution to achieve business and financial objectives including revenue and cash flow
• Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs or subsystems
• Act as primary customer contact for program activities and lead review sessions
• Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product development
• Identify project metrics, baselines, and manage program risks and mitigations
• Lead the development and implementation of coordinated plans to meet company goals
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and direction to team members and other project managers
• Review and approve purchase orders, subcontracts, and contract changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 9 years of relevant experience
• Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
• 3-5 years of experience with EVMS

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Strong background in electromechanical systems, optics, or aerospace products
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments and subcontractors
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
