Lead, Program Finance

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased integrated budgets, schedules, and Earned Value (EV) data compliance reporting
• Provide comprehensive financial performance analysis to offer early warnings on potential program issues
• Manage budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and risk management
• Develop quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC), and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
• Analyze workforce planning, forecasting, and personnel costs to ensure alignment with budgets
• Generate program financial artifacts, including EV reports, graphs, and customer-facing briefings
• Collaborate with Program Management, Material Planning, and Operations to influence process improvements
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
• Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience
• Or 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Proficiency in financial modeling, cost accounting, and budgeting/forecasting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and GAAP
• Familiarity with contract compliance and negotiation
• Ability to mentor less experienced team members
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Access)
• Experience with customer and management-level financial reporting
