Lead Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform department safety audits and hazard assessments
• Train employees on 5S requirements and department-specific training
• Ensure compliance with GMP, biosecurity, and sanitation requirements
• Maintain accurate company and state required record keeping
• Manage department inventory and equipment calibration
• Communicate production goals and track performance KPIs
• Create and follow department-specific work instructions and SOPs
• Mentor, train, and develop team members through coaching and daily meetings
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing or agricultural environments
• Ability to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass required background checks and state badging agency approval

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or relevant certifications
