About the role
Responsibilities
- Enforce company safety policies and conduct accident investigations
- Provide direction to production team members to meet key metrics
- Monitor line staffing and recommend adjustments to control manpower costs
- Perform routine line checks to ensure machine and personnel efficiency
- Sustain manufacturing methods including 5S, PQCDSM, and Visual Management
- Ensure associates are adequately trained through onboarding and mentoring programs
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and warehouse operations
Requirements
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to coach, train, and mentor associates
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
