Lead Product Manager, Core Data

Responsibilities

• Set the long-term mission, charter, and ownership boundaries for the Data Ingestion Platform team
• Develop and maintain a high-impact roadmap balancing foundational investments with active initiatives
• Define the strategy for ingesting large volumes of data from numerous sources
• Partner with engineering to design scalable, resilient, and maintainable ingestion systems
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce toil and improve pipeline observability
• Establish success metrics such as ingestion reliability, pipeline latency, and data freshness
• Drive improvements in observability, monitoring, and operational excellence
• Guide architectural simplifications and tooling choices to ensure platform sustainability

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Platform Product Manager in data infrastructure or distributed systems
• Deep understanding of data architecture and large-scale systems
• Experience with event-driven systems or high-volume ingestion pipelines
• Technical fluency to engage in discussions around pipelines and infrastructure
• Ability to measure success via engineering productivity and reliability metrics
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple technical organizations
• Ability to work onsite in the Boston office 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the transformative potential of AI in platform engineering
• Experience in developer platform environments
