Lead Product Engineer

Reducto is the agentic document platform for leading AI teams who demand enterprise performance at scale. We provide a comprehensive toolkit for working with documents the way a human would, combining custom in-house and leading frontier models to power efficient and accurate document workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine Reducto Studio's core features including document viewers, extraction workflows, and data visualization
• Create delightful, intuitive UIs that elegantly decompose complex document workflows
• Ideate, prototype, and iteratively deliver new features like form filling, translations, and document classification
• Implement real-time collaboration features and responsive interfaces
• Work within the design system and stack (Next.js, Tailwind, Convex) to ship fast
• Experiment with new interaction patterns for AI-powered document processing
• Work directly with founders and customers to shape product direction

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building applications with modern frameworks
• Exceptional proficiency in TypeScript and React
• Strong design sensibility and understanding of visual product experiences
• Experience leading business-critical projects from 0 to 1
• Ability to lead small teams
• High agency and a high bar for quality
• Quantitative approach to building products with ability to debug and iterate fast

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience founding a company or building products at early stages
• Experience with document viewers, PDF rendering, or complex data visualization
• Deep knowledge of frontend engineering and design systems
