Lead Process Engineer - LNG

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering calculations and design deliverables for LNG projects without supervision.
• Generate design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, process simulations, data sheets, and engineering calculations (hydraulics, performance flow curves).
• Provide technical leadership and resolution for issues associated with the design, construction, and operation of refining and petrochemical processes.
• Review the work of engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Perform regular reviews of vendor documents to ensure all data sheet requirements and specifications are met.
• Lead mid-to-large scale projects or proposals, managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to client proposals and project cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 15-25 years of relevant Process Engineering experience specifically within the LNG sector.
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and other advanced process simulation tools.
• Strong expertise in process simulation and complex data analysis.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment based out of Houston, TX.
• Willingness to travel up to 20-25%.
