Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. We are scaling up battery manufacturing at our high-volume facility in West Virginia to deliver long-duration energy storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvements to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to solve production issues and maintain quality standards
• Conduct advanced root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions for large-scale equipment and systems
• Establish and analyze key performance indicators to ensure production targets are met
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Drive optimized usage of PLM, MES, and ERP systems to enhance manufacturing intelligence
• Support factory layout, capacity planning, and scalability efforts

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing or production development
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Mastery in owning manufacturing processes including quality, throughput, and yield
• Advanced proficiency in statistical methods using JMP, Minitab, or equivalent
• High level of proficiency in SQL data querying
• Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary projects and mentoring engineering teams
• Deep technical expertise in creating DFMEAs and PFMEAs
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills in high-growth manufacturing environments
