About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment for carbody shell production.
  • Ensure industrial requirements align with customer demands and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Develop macro-processes, assembly sequences, and positioning strategies for manufacturing activities.
  • Manage industrial risks using criticality assessments, process FMEAs, and ergonomics analysis.
  • Identify manufacturing equipment and tooling needs and support the introduction of new technologies.
  • Monitor and validate digital mock-up decomposition and structure in alignment with industrial strategies.
  • Validate supplier and subcontractor quality of inputs and outputs to meet QCD targets.
  • Produce and track technical industrial documents using various software tools.

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Experience in process or manufacturing engineering, specifically in fitting, welding, or tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of railway industry standards, including health and safety, ergonomics, and lean manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with industrial analysis tools such as FMEA, QRQC, MTM, or line balance.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and strong presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with modeling software such as CATIA or AutoCAD.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills to manage workloads and motivate teams.
