Lead Process Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for all process design activities related to the GOSP facility
• Lead and manage the process design team, assign tasks, and ensure quality of deliverables
• Spearhead development of project process design basis, guidelines, and technical specifications
• Finalize key process schemes and technical execution strategies
• Organize and review core process simulation calculations including equipment sizing and hydraulic calculations
• Prepare and approve key documents such as P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and pressure relief reports
• Act as the primary process discipline interface for clients, project management, and other engineering disciplines
• Ensure designs adhere to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and KSA regulations
• Provide technical support to site teams during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or a related field
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certification or eligibility
• Valid Saudi Aramco certification/work permit
• Minimum 15 years of experience in process design within the oil and gas industry
• 2-3 complete projects as a Process Lead/Principal Engineer for major upstream facilities (GOSP, CPF, etc.)
• Extensive experience with Saudi Aramco or similar major international oil & gas companies
• Proficiency in HYSYS, PipeSIM, or similar process simulation software
• In-depth understanding of upstream treatment processes like oil-gas separation and compression
• Fluent in English; basic Arabic is a plus
