Lead Polisher

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and workflow within the Polishing department to ensure high-quality finishes
• Manage daily and weekly operational needs including work order management and prioritizing deadlines
• Provide technical guidance on surface preparation, abrasive selection, and tool conditioning
• Bridge communication between Assigning, QA, and production teams
• Lead and mentor polishers, including onboarding and identifying skills gaps
• Document job status, root causes, and quality metrics like throughput and defects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in jewelry polishing as a production jeweler
• Deep knowledge of jewelry finishes
• 1+ year of leadership or mentorship experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and Slack
• Spanish speaking preferred
