Lead Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform daily loading, weighing, and packaging of dry ice products (blocks, pellets, slices) based on customer orders
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards regarding weight, density, and packaging integrity
• Operate production machinery and material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation, including production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage
• Ensure facility cleanliness and organization to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Mathematical proficiency with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, commissions, proportions, and percentages

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
