Lead Planner

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning team for a major project with a high profile client
• Develop detailed, resource and cost loaded, logic-linked project programmes
• Integrate contractor schedules and regulatory/consenting requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate schedule updates to reflect current progress
• Identify and advise on foreseeable execution risks
• Manage all change and compensation events

Requirements

• Degree in a related discipline
• Highly skilled in Primavera P6
• Minimum 15 years of major project planning experience
• Advanced understanding of WBS & CBS structures
• Expertise in resource loading, progress, and staffing plans
• Strong understanding of earned value application and variance analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with risk management processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transmission projects
• Practical experience working under NEC contracts
• Experience in training and development of others
