Lead Planner

Responsibilities

• Prepare Contract Baseline Schedules and revised schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases.
• Assist the Project Controls Manager in implementing procedures for planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting.
• Review project schedule updates and coordinate with various project teams to ensure accurate progress monitoring.
• Highlight deviations or delays from the approved plan to Project Management.
• Participate in the preparation of claims and extensions of time using appropriate delay analysis methods.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports, budget preparations, and maintaining planning records.
• Attend periodic site meetings to discuss schedule status and advise on the impact of suggested changes.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling.
• Proven experience in EPC Projects exceeding US$ 100M, specifically involving Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule quality compliance.
• Expertise in delay analysis and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience across all project phases: engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Ability to perform effectively under stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous employment with leading international EPC contractors.
• Experience working with ADNOC or equivalent major energy/infrastructure clients.
