About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare Contract Baseline Schedules and revised schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases.
- Assist the Project Controls Manager in implementing procedures for planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting.
- Review project schedule updates and coordinate with various project teams to ensure accurate progress monitoring.
- Highlight deviations or delays from the approved plan to Project Management.
- Participate in the preparation of claims and extensions of time using appropriate delay analysis methods.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports, budget preparations, and maintaining planning records.
- Attend periodic site meetings to discuss schedule status and advise on the impact of suggested changes.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling.
- Proven experience in EPC Projects exceeding US$ 100M, specifically involving Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule quality compliance.
- Expertise in delay analysis and schedule risk analysis.
- Experience across all project phases: engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Ability to perform effectively under stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous employment with leading international EPC contractors.
- Experience working with ADNOC or equivalent major energy/infrastructure clients.
